I love discovering and sharing ideas and insights about recovery. This week I came across a new-to-me phrase you might find helpful: The CHIME Model.

This concept comes from a 2011 study (Leamy et al) that looked at the common elements of various successful approaches to mental health and recovery. Even though personal experiences and details can vary greatly, many similarities exist. These boil down to five themes that are expressed by the acronym CHIME, which stands for:
– Connection
– Hope
– Identity
– Meaning
– Empowerment

If you’d like to hear more, I discussed the concept in this week’s episode of Tiny Bubbles, the new spin-off podcast from The Bubble Hour. You can listen here: https://link.chtbl.com/fPq8mhl2

I even made some free goodies for you, to help you remember and use the CHIME concept.
